Kim, the brushwork on this painting is masterful! You are really succeeding in bringing the birds alive in this series.

What a collection these birds would make. How about a nice triptych?

Love the rich color on this little guy and the brush strokes appear very much like feathers, beautiful!

ANOTHER gorgeous little bird, Kim. These are like jewels, every one. I had some clients come by the studio Sunday (five minutes notice, eeek!) and they all admired your bird painting. I was proud to tell them all about my friend in California who painted it.
sending many hugs...

I am always amazed at how your bird's brushstokes resemble a feathery texture.

That is so lovely, and I am partial to Chickadees.

Kim I really like the monumental feel of these little birds - they are so dominant in the space, and yet, they are such tiny creatures. You have such empathy with them, it really comes through. And your colors are so beautiful and subtle.

This series is fantastic, and I can't believe this one's not sold yet!! I think it's the best so far. The gesture, the expression, the paint handling, all wonderful.
