Fendt House

8 X 10 inch oil painting on canvas panel.

S O L D

This was painted as a commission for a friend. Her thoughtful husband called me a month in advance to see if I would be willing to paint a portrait of their darling house. He was planning on surprising her at her birthday party, which I was lucky enough to be invited to. When she opened her gift and saw what it was she got misty-eyed and then, I did too. It was a rare and very special moment I was thrilled to be part of.

The painting now hangs in the living room of their house, adding more charm to an already charming home.

This is such a sweet little painting. You just know a lovely family lives there. She must have been thrilled by her husband's thoughfulness and the effort and emotion that you, her friend, brought to the moment.
