This was painted on location at Bodega Head in Sonoma County, California. It is a location I always make time to visit when I'm up there painting because it is easy access to many beautiful views. For this scene I was able to pull my car into a parking spot, set up my painting gear next to my car and capture the morning light as it moved across the bluffs. It really doesn't get any easier than that as far as painting on location goes.
